Theme Multiply by 5 and 10
A: By 5
1. Multiplying by fives is the same as counting by fives.
2. Skip any number that does not end in a zero or a five.
Example:
In 5 x 4, we'll count 5, 10, 15, 20 to get to our product.
B: By 10
1. When multiplying whole numbers by 10, simply add a 0 to the end of the number.
Example:
In 10 x 6, add a 0 at the end= 60
